Saturday 21st June is the summer solstice — the longest day of the year, with more sunlight than any other. This year, we’re asking you to use those extra hours to do something extraordinary.
Shine On is our one-day fundraising challenge where you choose your own activity to mark the day and make a difference. Whether it’s walking, running, cycling, swimming, or something totally your own — it’s your chance to get outside, get moving, and help more people with blood cancer to Shine On.
Need inspiration? Why not:
There’s no cost to take part. We’re simply asking each participant to raise £40 — the cost of adding one potential lifesaver to the DKMS stem cell register. Just £40 could be the first step toward giving someone a second chance at life.
Everyone who signs up will receive a DKMS t-shirt to wear proudly on the day, plus a certificate to celebrate your achievement. Whether you go solo or gather a team, you’ll be helping to make the longest day of the year one that truly shines.
