Donate Money

Each and every single donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Every single penny that we receive will go towards the cost of registering new potential donors. It costs £40 to register just one potential stem cell donor, and whilst many of our supporters contribute towards the cost of their registration, not all are able to do so. You can help us to register more people.

Chloe survived blood cancer because Roland was able to join the register.

Help us to register more lifesavers

Some potential donors are unable to cover their £40 registration cost. Whilst we don't ask people who register to pay for the cost of their registration, we are grateful for any contribution, as it helps us to recruit even more people.

Just £5 a month will cover the cost of registering one potential donor over a year.

£6.60 a month will cover the cost of registering two potential donors in a year (That’s just 0.20p a day!)

What will your money go to support?

How many potential lifesavers will your money register?

At DKMS, we believe that nobody with a blood cancer should die because they are unable to find a matching blood stem cell donor. We urgently need to raise funds in order to continue our work registering as many people as possible, so that one day a suitable matching donor can be found for every blood cancer patient who needs one.

£40 = one new lifesaving donor £200 = 5 new lifesavers £600 = 15 new lifesavers £1000 = 25 new lifesaving donors

For many children and adults affected, a blood stem cell donation from a matching donor represents their best, and sometimes only, chance of beating this devastating disease. Despite being treatable and potentially curable, blood cancer today remains one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in the UK, and Leukaemia still claims the lives of more children in the UK than any other disease.

Every gift, no matter the size, will make a difference and every single penny that you are able to give will go towards the cost of registering new potential donors.

Help us to create a movement that gives hope to more people with blood cancer.

By donating £4 a month to DKMS, you will be part of a movement of lifesavers helping to spread the word about blood stem cell donation.
