Become a DKMS Super Swabber

As a DKMS Super Swabber, you have the power to inspire your community to join the stem cell donor register and help grow the pool of potential lifesaving donors. Each person you encourage to sign up brings hope to someone in need of a lifesaving match.
Spread the word
So, you‘ve signed up as a stem cell donor? That’s amazing - congratulations! Now, it's time to get the word out there about the incredible step you’ve taken and inspire others to join you as potential lifesavers.
We have prepared some easy-to-use resources for you to help spread the word, which you can download below. Simply share the link dkms.org.uk/swab to direct people to our "Become a Donor" page, where they can order their own swab kit — just like you did!
Here are some easy ways to share the link:
Group Chats – Share it with friends and family in any WhatsApp, Messenger, or other group chats.
Social Media – Post your link on your favourite social platforms! Use our handy resources and example social media copy to help you get started (see link below to download).
Workplace Channels – If your workplace has an intranet or communication channel, posting your link there can be a great way to reach colleagues.

Organise a donor registration event
We can also work with you to hold an event to inspire and encourage people to register as potential stem cell donors.
Host an in-person drive
Host a live event to encourage communities, neighbours, colleagues, or your own family and friends to become potential blood stem cell donors.
The actual registration process at the event will be quick and simple. Each person will be required to:
- check that they are eligible to become a potential donor
- complete a short consent form, and
- use three cheek swabs.
Virtual drive
This is an alternative way to hold an event. We can set up a unique, personalised landing page where you, your colleagues, friends, etc., can register. Once registered, their swab kit will be sent directly to them. This is a perfect option if you have a community, family or group who are geographically scattered.
We will support and guide you through holding an event. Our donor recruitment managers work with you every step of the way, providing training, materials, and ongoing help.
