3rd July 2015 We are delighted to announce that we and the DKMS international group of charities that we are a part of, have collectively now facilitated fifty thousand blood stem cell donations. The lives of people of all ages, from newborn babies to older patients, have been saved because of these fifty thousand blood stem cell donations. We pay tribute to all of the people who have registered with them to donate blood stem cells and help save the life of someone they don’t know, and to those who have gone on to donate.

We are delighted to announce that we and the DKMS international group of charities that we are a part of, have collectively now facilitated fifty thousand blood stem cell donations.
The lives of people of all ages, from newborn babies to older patients, have been saved because of these fifty thousand blood stem cell donations.
We pay tribute to all of the people who have registered with them to donate blood stem cells and help save the life of someone they don’t know, and to those who have gone on to donate.
Sandra Bothur, the managing director of the DKMS international group of charities, says: “Fifty thousand blood stem cell donations thanks to Delete Blood Cancer UK/DKMS donors – that's as many chances to live as there are football fans in a sold-out stadium. A gigantic number that gives patients all over the world hope for a new life! We owe it all to our wonderful donors, who unselfishly offer their help to patients in need.”
“They prove each and every day that when people join forces for a good cause, they can create something big, beyond all national borders and vested interests. We owe a great debt of thanks to them, as well as to all our supporters."
