As Viva means ‘long life’ in several languages, the Viva was truly put in Las Vegas at a Vegas-themed ball in aid of all those seeking a lifesaving matching blood stem cell donor on Friday night. Held in Wolverhampton, it was organised by blood cancer sufferer Samrick Bahia and Focus Leukaemia. They had organised a fantastic ball last year where hundreds of people joined the blood stem cell registry and thousands of pounds was raised to fund the registration costs of new potential lifesavers.
