To mark World Blood Cancer Day this year, we are very excited to share that DKMS have teamed up with Chaos Cookie to create a special edition of their flagship game, Squarelets.
Chaos Cookie is an independent, UK-based game studio dedicated to designing and developing engaging and mindful digital experiences – offering moments of calm, creativity, and connection.
This cosy mobile puzzle game will guide players through the process and highlight the importance of joining the stem cell register, all through interactive and joyful learning.
The special DKMS partnership edition will follow The Adventures of Little Red Blood Cell.
The Adventures of the Little Red Blood Cell
This creative, medical-themed twist on the classic Little Red Riding Hood challenges players to complete special puzzle levels to progress through the story, raising awareness for blood cancer and the registration process.
The DKMS charity bundle
Alongside the free narrative event, Chaos Cookie is also launching an exclusive DKMS Charity Bundle priced at £2.99. The bundle includes five unique in-game hero skins inspired by real DKMS merchandise, as well as a superhero cape and cotton swab accessory (mirroring the real-life donor registration process).
Chaos Cookie is committing 50% of developer net proceeds from every bundle sold directly to DKMS UK, meaning every purchase will go directly towards the £40 cost of processing and registering a new potential blood stem cell donor.
