Every year, thousands of families face the sad reality of life-threatening illnesses. But with your support, we can provide hope to those with blood cancer and blood disorders. This festive season, you can make a difference and give families more precious moments together.
9-year-old Heidi from Sheffield loves to dance, swim and play with her friends. Those who love her say she is gentle, kind and full of life.
When her leukaemia returned earlier this year, her family’s world was ripped apart.
“Heidi’s just not herself anymore. The medication and treatments have taken so much from her. Each day, each poke, each prod - it breaks my heart. I just want my happy little girl back,” shares her mum, Lucy.
Heidi is starting new treatment but if it doesn't work, she may need a stem cell transplant.
Heidi’s story has already inspired hundreds to join the stem cell register. But right now, so many other children and families still need help.
By making a money donation to DKMS, you’ll help add more potential lifesavers to the stem cell register, giving children like Heidi a chance at survival and families a chance at hope.
This festive season, DKMS are asking our community of lifesavers to give the most precious gift: a second chance at life.
This festive season, you can help us bring more families together by supporting DKMS. Your donation will help us register more potential donors, fund critical research, and provide resources to patients waiting for their lifesaving match. Every contribution counts and every act of generosity could save a life.
Stand with HeidiThank you for being part of our life-saving mission.
Together, we can make miracles happen.
