Giving hope to blood cancer patients

Patient Daniel Greer and his family

Supporting patients and their families

Patients and their families are at the heart of everything we do at DKMS. We help and support as many patients as we can in their search to find a blood stem cell donor, giving them hope for the future. To do this, we run patient campaigns to raise awareness and encourage more people to sign up to the register.

If you or someone you know is searching for a stem cell donor, contact us

Patient campaigns include:

Sharing stories on social media

Using our social media channels, we share patients' stories as far and wide as we can.

Follow our campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin, all hoping to find a stem cell donor for everyone who needs one:

Press coverage

We work with local and national newspapers and broadcasters to share patient stories. This helps raise awareness and increase donor registration.

Donor recruitment drives

We work with friends and families of patients, local communities, and volunteers to hold events to inspire and encourage people to register as potential blood stem cell donors. Drives can be set up at:

Support groups

We also provide support groups for patients, family, and friends and a supportive community through our Facebook group.

Help us find more donors
Everyone who needs a blood stem cell donor should be able to find their match. Can you help?
