Myelodysplasia Syndromes World Awareness Day

We’re supporting Myelodysplasia Syndromes (MDS) World Awareness Day, which is taking place on Saturday, 25th October. MDS is a blood disorder that causes a drop in the number of healthy blood cells. As many people with it are searching for a matching blood stem cell donor, we are encouraging people to join the blood stem cell registry as a way to mark MDS World Awareness Day. In the run up to the day, we joined the MDS UK Support Group at an MDS information event in King’s College London on Wednesday.
