Get involved this World Blood Cancer Day
Become a donor

The Story

Every year 2,000 people in the UK need a blood stem cell transplant. Sadly, 40% of these people won’t find a matching donor. We are on a mission to change this, as we want all blood cancer and blood disorder patients to have the best possible chance of survival.

How can I help?

For this World Blood Cancer Day, on Friday 28 May, we are asking you to become a lifesaver-in-waiting by requesting a swab kit and joining the global register.

Once you’ve signed up, we’d be so grateful if you could support us by spreading the word. By doing so, you’ll be helping us reach our target of registering 2,000 new lifesavers-in-waiting ahead of World Blood Cancer Day.

As you sign up, you could take a screenshot of this message to share on social media, send a quick text to a friend, or have a chat with a colleague. However you tell people, you’ll be helping us to get more potential donors on the register and so giving more people a second chance of life.

You provide hope. We cover the rest.
