Take Part in our Lifesaving Research

We value your opinion

When you joined the UK stem cell register with DKMS, you did something truly incredible: you became a lifesaver-in-waiting. The next critical moment in your journey will come if you are matched to someone in urgent need of a stem cell donation. It’s a moment that could come at any time between the day you signed up and the day before your 61st birthday.

Unfortunately, not everyone who is identified as a match decides to become a donor.

We’d like to know if there’s more we can do to help registered donors, just like you, to go through with a donation if the time comes. And, to help us improve, we’d be really interested to hear your honest thoughts about our communications at this critical moment.

We’re looking for 20 people to participate in a 45-60 minute telephone conversation about how we talk to our donors. Participants will be selected randomly from those who have expressed their interest. And, we’ll be in touch with selected participants by email or telephone to discuss further details and schedule an interview appointment within the next two weeks.

If you would like to take part, please email us to register your interest.
