Hilary, from Leeds, received a transplant for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and is now able to see her first grandson grow up
During the appeal, Hilary’s son, Adam, made an impassionate appeal to you: “My mum Hilary, 62, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) in September 2017 and has been told by doctors that she urgently requires new blood stem cells from a stranger with a matching tissue type to rebuild her immune system, to fight infection and disease.”
You could be the lifesaver who could help Hilary or someone else beat blood cancer and have a long and healthy life.
