If you don’t want another pair of socks from your aunt and an ill-fitting jumper from your grandad this Christmas, why not ask for donations to DKMS instead? Your friends and family can give the gift of a second chance at life for more people with blood cancer. An easy way to collect contributions is by setting up a Just Giving page. This way you don’t have to handle any cash and people can donate from wherever they are in the world.
This year we might not be able to have our usual get togethers with family and friends but many of us will be celebrating together virtually instead. However you celebrate, you could dedicate your virtual party to DKMS. Ask attendees to wear red, host a blood cancer awareness quiz and donate the money saved on travel, new outfits and meals out to help delete blood cancer.
You can use the website Fundzzle to compile a guest list, send out invitations and collect donations to DKMS. To start organising up your event on Fundzzle, click here. For more information about fundraising for DKMS, please email us below or phone 0208 747 5656.
Run, jog or walk for DKMS this Christmas by taking part in your own Santa run. People all over the UK will be getting into the Christmas spirit, dressing up as Santa and raising money for their chosen charity.
Shop through 'Give as you Live', nominate DKMS as your chosen charity and a portion of your spend comes to us. It's really simple and won't cost you any extra.
