400,000 Potential Lifesavers on Standby To Help Save A Life

13 September 2018

As we mark Blood Cancer Awareness Month, this September, we’re delighted that we’ve now reached a milestone of 400,000 donors registered with us here in the UK.

These donors are on standby to donate their blood stem cells to someone with a blood cancer or disorder, and potentially save their life.

In our five-year history we've helped to give over 600 people a second chance at life. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped to us and make this possible.

We’ll continue our fight against blood cancer, registering as many potential lifesavers as possible. We will not stop until there is a match for everyone in need of a blood stem cell transplant.

How you can help

If you’re aged between 17 and 55 and in general good health please register online for your home swab kit and potentially save the life of someone like you.

It costs £40 to register a new blood stem cell donor. Why not lend a hand by hosting a #LetsNailBloodCancer party and raise funds to help register more potential lifesaving blood stem cell donors? Get your mitts on our fundraising kit dkms.org.uk/letsnailbloodcancer
