Sam’s station support for Paul

If you passed through Charing Cross train station on Saturday, you may have spotted Sam Margiotta who, along with some of her friends, was collecting for us at the station during the day. Sam’s husband Paul is seeking a blood stem cell donor match to treat Myelodysplastic Syndrome and she was collecting for the charity and to raise awareness of blood stem cell donation in support of him. They travelled down from Milton Keynes, where Sam lives in a village just outside of with Paul and their two young children Ben (3) and Nancy (2).

They raised a fantastic £650 which will all be used to cover the registration costs of new potential donors - any of whom may go on to save a life one day!

If you didn’t get to see her this Saturday, you will get another chance on the 8th of August when she will be collecting at London Bridge train station.
